Contexto do projeto

With the acceleration of digital transformation across Latin America, demand for low-latency computing and localized data processing is rapidly increasing—particularly in sectors such as telecommunications, cross-border logistics, and financial services.
In Central America, challenges such as uneven infrastructure distribution, high temperature and humidity, and unstable power grids make traditional brick-and-mortar data centers costly, slow to deploy, and difficult to maintain.
This project aims to establish a scalable, rapidly deployable edge computing infrastructure to support telecom operations, logistics data processing, and cloud edge services.
The primary deployment site is located in Panama, strategically selected near a major port and network exchange hub.

Arquitetura de Solução

The project adopts a modular containerized data center architecture, integrating power systems, cooling systems, IT racks, and monitoring systems into standardized containers. This enables factory prefabrication and fast on-site deployment.

Core Components

The IT infrastructure module features high-density racks designed for AI inference, edge computing, and data distribution, with power capacity of 6–12kW per rack and optional liquid cooling for higher-density needs.
The power system combines online double-conversion UPS with lithium battery storage in an N+1 configuration, and can integrate diesel generators to ensure reliable operation in unstable grid environments.
The cooling system is optimized for tropical climates, using efficient air cooling with optional liquid cooling, while in-row cooling improves performance in high-density zones and helps reduce PUE.
The solution uses standard 20ft ISO containers to house IT, power, cooling, and monitoring systems. All modules are pre-integrated and factory-tested, enabling fast and simplified on-site deployment.
